Love all: That's how every tennis match starts

Tennis is a sport that can benefit children of all abilities, including those with special needs. Tennis can help improve physical fitness, coordination, social skills, self-esteem, and cognitive development. 

As one of the best tennis players in the world, Andre Agassi, said: “It’s no accident, I think, that tennis uses the language of life. Advantage, service, fault, break, love, the basic elements of tennis are those of everyday existence, because every match is a life in miniature.”

Our Mission

Our tennis programs cater to 1st through 8th graders, primarily within TCUSD, with the goal of fostering a love for tennis and sports in general. We aim to develop a strong tennis team at Temple City High School. Unlike sports like soccer and baseball, which have established youth organizations, tennis is often only introduced to children by parents who play or by affluent families. This results in schools in wealthier neighborhoods having stronger tennis teams due to early, personalized coaching. As a tennis coach at Temple City High School, I see this disparity firsthand. My goal is to make tennis more accessible and affordable, creating a pool of skilled tennis players in Temple City.
